Email is the only way to reach us, and the useful things to send are corrections to the method, a figure that looks wrong, or a metro where the data does not match what you are being quoted.
What we can help with
A figure that looks wrong. Tell us the page, your metro and the number you expected. If the model is off in your market we would rather know.
A correction to the method. Every constant is on the methodology page. If you work in the trade and one of them is wrong, say which and what it should be.
Data questions. Where a number came from, how a calculation works, or how to check it yourself.
What we cannot help with
We cannot recommend a painter, quote your job, arrange work, or mediate a dispute with a contractor. We have no relationship with any painting company anywhere and no way to form a useful opinion about one.
If you need an actual quote, get three from local contractors and use the calculator to sanity check them.
Common questions
Can you give me a quote for my house?
No. We have never seen your house and we do not perform painting work. The calculator gives a modelled range you can check a real quote against.
How do I report an error in your data?
Email [email protected] with the page, your metro and the figure you think is wrong.
Do you accept guest posts or link requests?
No.
